A dispute is a conflict or disagreement between you and the online shop - for example, in the case of damaged goods, incorrect delivery, or if a return has not yet been processed.
How disputes work at Riverty
Riverty does not intervene directly in such cases. We recommend that you first contact the online shop directly to resolve the issue. If the dispute is not resolved before the payment deadline, you can take action via Riverty.
Simply report the dispute via the app
You can easily submit a dispute yourself via the Riverty app. There you have the following options:
- Create a dispute – quickly and easily
- Track all updates and view the current status at any time
- Upload documents, e.g., photos or proof of return
- Close the dispute yourself as soon as the problem has been resolved
As long as your dispute is open, the payment deadline is paused – so you don't have to pay anything for the time being.
Our advice
Create the dispute as early as possible to avoid reminders. If you have any questions or need assistance, we are happy to help.
In extreme cases, we advise you to contact another independent entity, such as legal aid, legal advice or the consumer advice center.
