If a direct debit for your instalment payment fails, you will receive a reminder requesting a transfer, which will also include charges.
Your instalment could not be debited once:
If this happens once, you can wait for next month. We will then catch up on the payment: Two instalments and the fees will be debited at once. Double instalments will be booked in case you respond too late to a reminder, as well.
Your instalment could not be debited several times:
If you have already not paid an instalment in the previous month, the outstanding amount must be transferred manually. Otherwise we will cancel the instalment agreement as agreed in the instalment contract.
Ensure that the correct amount is sent on time
In general, payments that are not made on time or in a different amount are not recognised by the system as instalments and are regarded as special payments. In this case, the amount is not offset against the individual instalment, but the plan total is reduced by the corresponding amount. This means you pay the instalments for less time.
