for Germany and
Austria:
With the direct debit procedure, you authorise Riverty to withdraw money from your account to pay your invoice. This can be a one-time or regular payment.
Once you have given Riverty the authorisation, you don't have to do anything else. For this reason, it is also called "direct debit". The authorisation is called a direct debit mandate. It can be issued in the Riverty app. You can find out how it works here.
Please note that Riverty is not responsible if the direct debit fails. In this case, we ask you to transfer the payment yourself, as a new direct debit for the same invoice is not possible.
The failure of the direct debit will result in a return debit note. This means that Riverty has not received any money and a chargeback will appear in your account overview after the debit.
Return debits are associated with fees.
You can find out the reasons for a return debit note from your bank. Riverty has no influence on this and cannot provide any information.
