Flex is only available for customers in Germany.
If you are unable to create a new Flex contract, this may be due to several reasons:
- You have an old Flex contract. This means that it is currently not possible to take out a new Flex contract.
- Your bank account did not have sufficient funds for the bank authentication.
- You used the wrong IBAN.
- The IBAN you provided is associated with multiple account holders.
- The name on your Riverty account does not match the name registered in your bank account. Do you have multiple first names or surnames and are they listed everywhere?
- Your ID was not legible.
- Your selfie does not match the passport photo on your ID.
- You are not within the German borders while applying for the new Flex contract.
- You have tried to set up a Flex contract twice without success. After the second unsuccessful attempt, you will not be able to set up a new Flex contract for 30 days.
- Have you cancelled or terminated a Flex contract? If so, you will have to wait six months before you can set up a Flex contract again.
- In exceptional cases, bank authentication can take up to two days. This is not a flat rejection. You will be notified of the result of the bank authentication by email.
