Have you received an invoice from Riverty, but didn’t order anything yourself?
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Check if someone else placed the order
- Have you possibly used Riverty for an instalment purchase that results in a recurring invoice?
- Ask your housemates or family members if they placed an order using your name and/or address.
- Sometimes an order is placed by a partner, child, or roommate who forgets to mention it.
- If that's the case, make sure the order is paid for, and that your housemate or family member uses their own information when placing future orders.
Step 2: Do you recognize the online shop or the order?
- Check if you recognize the name of the online shop for which Riverty is sending the invoice.
- Double-check whether you might have placed the order yourself but simply forgot.
- If it turns out you did place the order, please make sure to pay the invoice on time.
Step 3: Do you still suspect fraud?
- Can’t find out who placed the order?
- Don’t recognize the online shop or the order? Then it might be a case of address and/or identity fraud.
Step 4: Fill out our fraud report form
- Riverty takes the misuse of personal and/or address data seriously.
- For a full investigation, we need some additional information.

- Our fraud team will investigate your fraud report.
